Curtis WoloschukAs Associate Director of Programming of the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), Curtis Woloschuk manages VIFF’s programming team and its activities. Leading VIFF’s Canadian film programming, he also coordinates the adjudication of nine awards. In addition to managing the festivals' scheduling, he supervises the creation of all programming-related content for VIFF’s website and guide.

Ulrika BandeiraUlrika Bandeira is a filmmaker and a producer specializing in film festivals and cross genre events. She directed JUCK together with Julia Gumpert and Olivia Kastebring. Ulrika Bandeira is one of the founders and artistic directors of the performing arts collective Projektor who created the interactive concept cinemaoke. She also works for the regional film fund Film Capital Stockholm with a project about moving images in urban spaces.

Based in Israel since 1990.Graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, Jerusalem, Israel and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, Israel. Video artist and experimental filmmaker. Largely deals with subjects related to gender roles, sexuality and national identity, and the relations between these three. Her previous film Cold Facts was screened in many film festivals around the world.
Saskia Walker
Saskia WalkerSaskia Walker was born in Cologne in 1970. She studied art history, French and Russian in Paris, Freiburg, Moscow and Berlin. Afterwards she completed postgraduate studies in film directing at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. The filmmaker and curator has been a co-editor of Revolver film magazine since 2008 and she has been on the selection committee for the Berlin International Film Festival's Berlinale Shorts section since 2011. In 2013, she founded the production company Sprechfilm. In 2018 she began working in the selection commitees of the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated film and the swiss festival Solothurn Filmdays.

After his studies at the Sorbonne University and the EHESS in Paris, focusing on philosophy of art, he becomes one the co-founder of Goree Island Cinema. Through this entity, he acts as an editorial and artistic coordinator, insuring the development of several cultural projects, mainly around the cinematographic industry. He is the director of the Goree Cinema Festival, created in 2015.

Emilia MazikEmilia Mazik has a degree in Cultural Managment and in Philosophy both from Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Since 2014 is a project coordinator at Ad Arte Foundation of Cultural Education in Poznan, Poland. She has worked on multiple interdiciplinary projects including educational activities, film programming and international short film distribution. In 2019 she has become a Festival Director of Short Waves Festival, which 12th edition will take place in Poznan in March 2020.

Andrey AlferovAndrey Alferov is a film expert, film critic, a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). A National Film Academy of Ukraine Fellow; a TV host with extensive experience in different media. His other experience includes creating and hosting the Boardwalk Empire show on 1+1 channel and the 3stv/Movies project. He was a resident film reviewer at Savik Shuster's show on 3s.tv and the host and creator of Radio Vesti's project Cinema with Alferov. A film expert for Officiel Hommes magazine.A curator. He is a co-author of a large multimedia exhibition project Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors (the 50th anniversary of Sergei Parajanov’s masterpiece), along with Pavlo Hudimov and Film UA. A producer. He worked together with a stage director Kirill Serebrennikov.Also, he is the author and creator the Cinema with Alferov blog.

Doris BauerDoris Bauer is a cultural manager and curator based in Vienna, Austria. Since 2018 she’s managing director of VIS Vienna Shorts, Austria's only Oscar® qualifying film festival, where she’s also head of the international competition Fiction & Documentary since 2012. She studied political science at the University of Vienna. Until 2014 co-founder and director of the independent DVD rental store Filmgalerie 8½ and the short film festival espressofilm in Vienna. In 2012 she co-founded the Film Festival Forum, an association of 22 film festivals in Austria. She was the spokeswoman of this Forum until beginning of 2018. Doris works also as a curator for exhibitions, the last one was “shaping democracy“ at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, a short film exhibition on the occasion of the 100 years anniversary of the Austrian Republic last year.

Julia Fuhr MannJulia Fuhr Mann, born 1987 in Germany, is currently living in Munich. She’s a filmmaker, curator and queer-feminist activist. After studying philosophy, literature and sociology, since 2013 studies in film directing at UNIVERSITY OF TV AND FILM MUNICH.As a member of PRO QUOTE FILM she stands up for gender equality in film business, she is a curator for the feminist film festival BIMOVIE and works for the video editorial of SÜDDEUTSCHE ZEITUNG.Currently she is developing her graduation film – an utopian essay film revolving around the dissolution of gender stereotypes in competitive sports. Luca TóthLuca Tóth is a Hungarian animation director, born in 1989. She studied at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. After receiving her BA diploma she went on studying at Royal College of Art for her Masters degree. Her graduation film ‘The Age of Curious’ won the Jury Distinction Prize at Annecy International Animated Film Festival.After studying and working in the UK -Luca moved back to Budapest where she made her first independent short film `Superbia` which premiered at Critics’ Week In Cannes 2016. Her latest animated short, Mr. Mare had its premiere at Berlinale Shorts Competition in 2019.

During the first year in the University I realized that I’d be simply better off by pursuing my lifelong passion: Filmmaking. So it was time to fly again. In 2017 after 6 years of studying I received my M.A degree from the Polish National Film School in Lodz. As of now I reside and work in between Poland, Georgia & other countries as well.

Krzysztof SienkiewiczKrzysztof Sienkiewicz - energetic promoter of Polish culture. He is an organizerand coordinator of Film Podlasie in Attack! Reloaded, a project that helps promotefilms and filmmakers from the Podlachian region of Poland. He works for the Bialystok Cultural Center where he runs and organizes festivals such as the ZUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival and the Underground/Independent. He is co-organizer and tutor of several film workshops and youth exchange programs with Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Georgia and Poland as well as hundreds of film screenings in Europe. Additionally,as independent filmmaker he is the co-author of shorts ( last one is: Krańce świata - człowiek ryba/The ends of the world - fishman ) and documentaries ( last one is: Tandemem przez pogranicze/Tandem in borderland). In free time involved in activity of community Podlasie Makes Me Happy that promotes creative people and films from Podlasie/Poland the Eastern side of Poland and Europe.
