The winner of KISFF2012 is a Hungarian animation, the winner of KISFF2014 is also a Hungarian animation. For last few years all significant film forums have presented at least one (usually much more) animated films from Budapest. World-wide film festivals, such as Cannes FF, Berlin FF, Toronto IFF, Venice FF, Sundance, Tribeca, Clermont-Ferrand and many other film events in different parts of the world have presented these films. All these film directors are different, but they have few similar features - they all have the Hungarian passport and connections to the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design of Budapest city. We have decided to explore the reasons of phenomenal development of Hungarian animation, which is comparable to success of Hungarian cinematography in Hollywood in 1950s. Guests of the Festival are going to present the program, namely Luca Toth with her film «Superbia» which was presented in Cannes last year, Anna Katalin Lovrity with her «Volcano Island», which was presented in Berlin and Natalia Fabics, film historian and collaborator of Animation department of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
