More than a month has passed since the russian forces launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. However, the time of war turned into one endless day for many Ukrainians. Every day, thousands of Ukrainians hide in bomb shelters and metro stations from rocket attacks and airstrikes, dozens of civilians die, and innocent children suffer. Why? Because putin, whose actions, according to recent polls, are approved by over 80% russians, has gone mad and decided that he can intimidate us and subdue us by force. And if it doesn't work out, destroy our country.

Terror is an integral feature of any totalitarian regime. It is what the Soviet Union insisted on, and this is how putin's russia is characterized. And Ukraine has been suffering from this for more than a century. For Soviet (and now russian) ideologues, a culture is a powerful tool of influence and propaganda. And in order to destroy Ukrainians as a nation, they need to erase our culture and rewrite our history in favour of their imperial fantasies.

Until recently, those who believed that culture should be apolitical, will see straight at last. Russian culture is the culture of empire that terrorizes and colonizes, and therefore deserves a total boycott. Russian culture has raised many generations of Z-russians who are now killing Ukrainians and threatening the West.

Ukrainians are a peaceful nation, we have never attacked anyone and never wanted to face a war. We yearn for peace and freedom, we want to be those who determine our future and the future of our children.

Hear our voices. Discover Ukrainian culture that remained in the shadows for centuries. Help us in the struggle for values that are fundamental to the entire civilized world. Let's stop russian aggression together.

To support Ukraine, we organize a series of screenings of Ukrainian films (future, documentaries, and shorts) that will introduce European culture to our culture and help raise funds for the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians. If you are ready to join the screenings of Ukrainian films in your city — please contact us. If we unite, we will win!
