FESTIVAL PASS

The pass does not guarantee a seat for each of the 80 screenings, but it will allow you to watch more films at a much lower price. The passes are valid for screenings at Zhovten Cinema and KINO42.

All passes are electronic, you don't need to print them out or pick them up at the info point, you just need to show them on your phone or any other device.

If you have any problems with purchasing a festival pass, please contact Ticketsbox support or write to us at kate.ianiuk@cinema.org.ua

🎟 TYPES OF FESTIVAL PASSES

This year, KISFF offers four types of passes: Visitor, Student, Online, and Special.

  • Visitor Pass
    Early Bird — 700 ₴ (until August 20)
    Regular — 800 ₴ (August 21 – September 2)
Last Minute — 900 ₴ (from September 3, subject to availability)

  • Student Pass — 350 ₴

  • Online Access — 80 ₴
(Includes access only to the Ukrainian competition program)

  • Special Pass — Free
(Available for military personnel, veterans, pensioners, and IDPs)

To purchase a student pass via Ticketsbox, upload a photo of a valid, state-issued student ID.
To access the special pass, upload one of the following: a pension certificate, an IDP certificate, a military ID, or any document that confirms your eligibility. You may blur or hide personal details like ID number or series. Your data will be securely deleted right after verification.

Prefer not to upload documents? You can still get a free ticket right before a screening — details below.

🎫 TICKETS

Tickets for individual screenings will be released starting August 5 and added gradually.
The full festival program and all tickets will be available no later than August 20.

Buy tickets on each film’s page at www.kisff.org/events or directly via the KISFF page on Ticketsbox.
Ticket prices range from 100 ₴ to 180 ₴. All screenings have open seating (first come, first served).

Free access is available to military personnel, IDPs, and pensioners. You can collect free tickets for any festival screening at the Accreditation Desk at Zhovten Cinema from September 4–10, between 15:00–20:30.
Alternatively, just show your ID/certificate to a volunteer before the screening — if seats are available, you're in!

In case of air raid alerts, screenings may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled. Tickets can be refunded or exchanged via Ticketsbox or at the Accreditation Desk.

🎟 HOW TO USE FESTIVAL PASSES

Festival passes are personal and non-transferable. They grant one ticket per screening and do not allow booking for overlapping sessions.

Ticket reservations with a pass will open about one week before the festival. You’ll get an email once booking is live.
Log into your Ticketsbox account to create your personal festival schedule. You can hold up to 5 active ticket reservations at a time. After attending a screening, you’ll be able to book your next one.

Tickets are not sent by email — they appear in your Ticketsbox account and are linked to your festival badge.

Can’t make it to a screening? Please cancel your reservation in one click from your account — it frees up a spot for someone else.

Important: Always scan your badge before the screening.
If you miss 3 or more screenings without canceling, the system will automatically cancel all your future reservations — though you can still re-book if tickets are available.

During an air raid alert, screenings will be extended, postponed, or canceled based on the location.
Stay tuned to our social media or check with on-site volunteers for updates.

Passes are refundable only before the festival begins.
